About us

The idea for Briosa was born at the end of 2017 when I, Katarina (owner and founder of Briosa.se) would buy new training clothes for myself. The existing collections were not always comfortable to wear and the sizes were often limited to XS-L.
After looking around, I found that there was no store, either physically or online, that sold a more varied range of training clothes for women.
At least not for those who have the size large or larger and who have passed adolescence by a small margin.

My starting point when I started Briosa.se was to find an assortment of comfortable and well-fitting clothes for women of all sizes and ages - regardless of training form and also in socially and environmentally sustainable materials.

Exercise should be fun no matter what form you move!

That insight and philosophy also gave us the name Briosa, which comes from Italian and means lively and lively, because it's a bit how you should feel before training. For my own part, it was also a bit special because I have lived for many years in this friendly country in southern Europe.

I have received many confirmations that we have found the right one. Among other things, one of my customers wrote that "Compared to all the training clothes I have had so far, my Paradise tights from Daily Sport are the softest and most comfortable! The Paradise jacket makes me happy every time I train.

This is exactly how we want you as a customer to feel.

Over the years, my mother Agneta has become more and more involved in the company that we now run together. You will usually contact Agneta if you have any questions about your order or delivery while I, Katarina, take care of the technical and purchasing.

In 2020, the Briosa family has also expanded to include Amaru, which helps with Social Media, ads, texts and much more. We have also joined a Danish site (Briosa.dk) and in Copenhagen we have Rikke who is our Danish translator.
